No longer: Promises to self

I can no longer give where I am taken for granted.

I can no longer trust people who refuse to see me for who I really am.

I can no longer be vulnerable in places where I am not trusted with the vulnerability of others.

I will no longer overlook pity. From anyone, but least of all from people who haven’t pulled themselves through what I have.

I no longer have time for people who are careless with my heart.

I no longer have space for anyone who makes me question how they feel about me.

I am no longer putting myself through the pain of forgiving people who are not sorry.

I am no longer available to people who want something from me to fill their own voids.

I will no longer pretend not to see when someone ridicules me to make me feel smaller, and tries to sell it as a joke.

I will no longer ignore it when my intuition screams at me.

I will no longer try to do what other people think is right.

I will no longer accept any form of manipulation.

I will no longer force myself to see the good when it is not obvious.

I will no longer try to prove my worth.
